I don't know if there was a topic about this, but have you guys seen this movie yet? I don't remember whose in it, but yeah. By the way, I'm not talking about the older version. I'm talking about the newest version of Phantom of Opera!

I really want to watch it so bad!!! Because I love opera music a lot --- really do. So yeah I'm planning to watch it soon, maybe with my mom? Since she loves opera music too? hehe

Dude, the movie sucked. The Broadway musical is infinitely better; Sara Brightman is the only one that should be singing Andrew Lloyd Webber's stuff.

i agree live is always better because you feel the music, but the cast in the movie is better than the original cast on broadway.

That movie was really goood Andrew Lloyd Webbers music was amazing, and the choreography in the movie was great They made the phantom all sexy, of course, until he took his mask off. I read the book and loved it...and the movie was amazing....I can't wait to see it on Broadway But yah you should def go see it! My brother hated it tho...he got so bored with all the singing,and he said he didn't get the story line. But if you know the story, and love the music like me, then you'll love it

Jenny, have you not watch the black and white version one? And yes, it's a musical movie. Where they sing and stuff. But I don't know if the newer version is like that. I saw the preview and I don't remember hearing any singing voice there. I just saw them dancing around in the ballroom part.

But anyways, I want to watch it on Broadway too! I don't know when they will be playing it here at Seattle, but I can't wait to see it here on Broadway too!

Yea I watched it and I loved it. I watched it because I play Pantom of the Opera songs at my orchestra (I play the violin by the way) so I wanted to see it. I definatly recommend it to everyone who likes theatrical works and especially those who play a musical instrument, you could connect to it a lot more. IT was good I hope whoever plans to see it does, enjoy!

This movie rocked! Even if they made the Phantom HOTT! Seriously, I would pay the ten bucks to see this movie again and again and again and again and again. Although, you really have to have an appriciation for music to see this...

I for one saw the movie and Loved it! it was great. the cast was amaizng and the songs were just wonderful. I'm listening to the soundtrack right now. Its great. Its funny -when I saw Phantom of the Opera I was like...DAMN! Now I'm hooked on it.

Alas I have yet to see the stage production. its sad because my friends tell me its great. and I'm a lover of theatre so I hope to see it one day. But the Movie just blew me away. however that's just my personal opinion on it.

I was supposed to see it at Vegas last December but they didn't have the movie being played there so I missed my chance. I think I might like the movie, I did went to this play once and it a lot of music sung by the actors, and I liked it. So I might enjoy this one.

The Phantom looks good, although the mask makes him look a little weird.

OMG! I ABSOLUTLEY LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED Phantom of the Opera. Ive seen it twice and I plan to go a third time. A few of my friends get to see it on broadway im SO jelous. I got the soundtrack and I havent stopped listening to it. Its funny how its been out for over a month and its like just now (the past week) gotten even more popular. I had been wanting to see it since like mid november. Isaw it sometime over christmas break. Wow, words cant even begin to describe how awesome that movie was. Eevrything was freak great from costumes, music, to ques, to the overall story line. I LOVED it!

it's an AWESOME MOVIE! haha but there's this part where one of the guys goes "nightttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt" and he's singing it. and hes holding it for like 2 minutes. LITERALLI. my friend dozed off and when he woke up he was like "THE GUYS STILL SINGING!?!?!?" and the whole theatre was laughing

OK! I just watched this movie over the weekend and let me tell you, it's one of the best films of the year!! I am a sucker for broadway musicials and stuff and this film really does the broadway show justice! The actors are spectacular and the main girl character that plays "Christine" actually sings in the movie. She is a terrific singer. I just love this movie sooo much..the acting is great, the directing is great, the plot has suspense and the costumes..wow!! This film deserves an A+ and I have no idea why critics gave it a C!!! Everyone has different taste, and I know some ppl dont' like musicials but this is one you don't wanna miss if you do!
