on something fancy and vintage, what fonts do you recommend that work on most browsers and are listed under default.

^The fanciest you're going to get with a default font would probably be Script. I always thought a bold and italic georgia looked pretty classy as well.

How about uppercase Times New Roman characters with -3, -4 tracking depending on the font size? Always thought that looked classy.

i normally stick with dearJo its so pretty and sassy but its not a default which causes my tagboard to take a few hits from viewers..

and my layout ratings are getting worser

*Worse, and I disagree. It looks well good if you resize it to 20pt or so and adjust its letter spacing. Did you want a regular or script font?

i've been cooking up this design and i used candara and dearJO...let me tell you, its a mess!! its very fancy with lots of (pretty) colors and i used up about a dozen vintage ideas i was saving up. starting to code it, the FONT looks awful and it only works in IE & FF

If you don't like TNR, just go with Georgia. The different baselines of its characters were always appealing to me. Try Gabi's take on it.

I can't remember the name of these 2 fonts I used for a CD cover....thought I backed up all my fonts from my old PC, which is dead now, and installed them on my laptop, but I am missing these 2 fonts...hope someone can figure out the names of them...sorry for the images being kinda small, but I only had smaller versions of the CD covers as pictures on my laptop and just copied the part with the font..

anyone know the name of the font that the "welcome" and most of the rest of that is in?

That font's called Helvetica Neue Ultralight. Pretty sure it's not available in anything but Mac OS so if you're using Windows or something, you can use this tool then just screenshot the preview or whatever.

I couldn't be bothered to find the fonts so I just found high quality images of the logos themselves:

- iTunes 1, iTunes 2
- Twitter
- MySpace
- Facebook
