Wow anyways...I liked the idea of inviting him over to dinner to see how your parents react to him. I cannot believe this crap is still going on. I am mexican american and Im dating a white guy. My parents do not care however my grandparents would like me to date within my mexican race. Thank god they are not my parents.

My parents always told me to date someone not based on their race but on how well they treat you and how well you are compatable. It should not be up to your parents who you can and cannot date. Thats just silly.

well parents aren't always right. so if you guys really do like eachother, just try it. just don't tell your parents. what they don't know can't hurt them. also, my friend's parents are like that, and she still will date whomever she wants no matter the race, but she has tried talking about it with her parents and explaining to them why it was wrong, so you might try that, it could work.
