I am planning to get my nose pierced but my mum doesnt agree lol, my friend has her tounge pierced and she has it pierced below her bottom lip.

got mine~ didnt hurt that much.. belly peircings are like 5 years ago.. i think its over.

as much as it looks cool, i don't think i want to get mine pierced...what if it gets infected...gosh...gross..i'd rather have a non pierced belly than a red or green or blue or w/e on your belly...i wouldn't want it to hurt or get ichy either...=<

Thats how I feel. And its become sooo trendy now. but I promised myself wen I got down to my goal weight that I would let myself get it done..but man its high maintenence. People worry about tounge rings, but I got my tounge peirced same time my firned got her belly done, and mine healed so much faster and didnt bleed three times a day. So yeah.


oh, and the whole halting growth thing? I dont think I will be growing anymore so I'm not worried about it. I'm acutally sick of 13 year olds running around with peircings. That shit is not even legal. Grr. Wait til ur older and can make ur own decisions and you realise the reprocussions of your behaviours.

I got mine wen i was 12 (young, i no ) it hurt for me then, but i think if i went to get it dun now at this age, 14, it woodnt hurt as much. they dont get infected real easy... nose piercings get infected tunz eazier...

They're cool. I got mine done when I was 11 Nearly 6 years ago. I've got the bottom of my navel pierced as well. That one hurt like a bitch My most painful one.

I still grew another 7 inches and I'm still growing so I doubt the halt your growth thing is true. The only reason you could get stretch marks is if your skin stretches too fast really.. over a short period of time And when your pregnant you can have a plastic bar put in which is flexible and stuff so it doesn't do that

i just got my belly button pierced in the beginning of march, and i'm being totally honest...it didn't hurt at all. all it feels like it pressure on your stomach, and then a little bit of pressure when the ring goes in. if you live in lancaster, pa, and you want to know where to go for a clean, sterile shop, go to Wade's Tattooing and Body Piercing. the piercer is extremely professional. anyway, it might hurt for a little afterwards, for the next few days or so, but nothing where you'd be in the hospital for two months! lol. piercings are fun and exciting to get!

i think gutbutton [lol] peircings have the highest risk for infection.. [i said that in the tounge ring one but i change my mind on that!]

seriously! i knew a girl she got her button peirced... it got infected so she took it out and let it heal or whatever and then she got it again and made sure she kept it clean and stuff and it still got infected...

just make sure to go to a clean, licensed, etc.. peircer

And everyone's talking about infections, its called using CLEAN needles, you need to make sure everythings sterile for any piercing.

I completely agree, I don't like the way they look at all. I think they look gross, are gross, and certainly not worth infections or pain. and Iv'e heard it can rip when you give birth, and get caught on yer pants an rip and stuff

I am getting mine done next year (when I turn 15)... My mom would have let me get it pierced when I was 13 but my dad wasnt really cool with that.

I got mine done at the ending of March. It doesn't hurt at all, I don't know why people make up those stupid stories anyway, they're just to scare you and put you off. If everytime you wanted to do something, and got scared, wouldn't your life be pretty boring? I was scared when i was getting mine done, but when the woman had finished, i was like "Is that all" lol, I love it though.

gross! i don't want to pierce anywhere but my ears for earrings. just two holes and that's it. no extra crazy piercings. plus half the girls that get them don't have flat tummies and its just gross. also when it swells and get infected its gross!

why bother, how often will someone see your belly button, unless you wear miniture shirts every day or cut a hole there. And if you over eat and get a gut, all of a sudden it dosn't sound so hot..

I don't like them, but even if I did, it would get infected, because I'm allergic to like everything. Any kind of metal they use would get me sick, because I can only keep earrings in for a maxx of 4 hours without my ears getting all oozy and red. And I have to put tape on the back of my watch so that the metal doesn't give me a rash. And I have to put tape on the clasps of necklaces/bracelettes so that they don't give me a rash. eekk.. It's so annoying. And it doesn't matter what kind of metal, most people say sterling silver or gold wont get me sick, but all of my jewlery is either gold or sterling, and they get me sick.

I was going to, I even had my mom their with me, but then I totally chickened out. I think my mom knew I would chicken out, lol, I never in a million years think she would say yes
