Well, you usually don't see them except in the summer, so I think it's kind of pointless. Otherwise, when on the right person, it looks nice. In fact, I think ears and bellybuttons are the only things that look nice pierced.

i use to want to get mine pierced, but then everyone else got their's pierced. it seems so sterotypical now. :( my teacher even has one. i just want my tongue pierced. because you gotta have balls to get them :) and my ear bump pierced with studs. :)

I'm really not crazy about them at all. I think they're quite trashy looking on some people, and just decent on others. I'm not morally opposed ot them or anything, but they're definately not something I would ever get. I'm pale, though, so it would look kinda bad.

its okay.. looks good on some people and others like i know my friend's mom who's like 40 sumthing just got one...while she was drunk i think. and i know people who have ended up in the hospital because of infection. so yea no thankss.

The other day I saw this 30 something woman with a belly shirt, a lower back tattoo and a belly button ring.... it was not pretty. Plus, HELLO it's freakin December!! BELLY SHIRT?!
Yah I don't like belly button rings they are too common. Like the lower back tattoo. I like to be more original ^_^

woo! i got it done for my birthday. it didn't hurt as bad as i thought it would. it's just a long, slow pinch. the worst part if you ask me is having to clean it two times a day until it heals, which is 6-9 months.

i think its hott but with my flabby abs... its not gonna be that easy to pull off

I got mine about 3 weeks ago. It's almost done healing. It still hurts from time to time.
What annoys me the most is that I accidentally 'hit' it against hard objects. For instance; I tried getting up in class and I hit it against my table. It hurt but not terribly.

I love it though. I can't wait till it's completely done healing.

I really want to get mine done but my mom refuses to go take me so i tryed to pierce it myself >_< DONT TRY IT it hurts like heck and i didnt even get it through half way! so insted i pierced my cartladge myself (and it never got infected) and it turned out great :)

This is stupid. I've had mine done 6 times. (it kept getting infected, but only becuase i'm allergic to metal and titanium and that's what the jewelry is made of.) This is not true though because it can not put you in the hospital if it gets infected. And it's not close enough to your stomache to infect your stomache. It only infects the skin.

I got mine done a few months ago. I drove 45 minutes to this place because I thought it was illegal but turns out you only have to be 14 to get anything pierced in California. So, I got it done without permission from my parents, they found out two weeks later and didn't really care. It hurt pretty bad for about 30 seconds and the rest of the week sort of irritated me but not too much pain in all. I recommend getting it done professionally though because if you mess up then there is no going back.

I got mine done like, three years ago and I left it out for a few weeks and it closed on me. T_T I've been meaning to get it done again but I've been so broke from shopping. Meh.

My hair cutter is like, almost 50 and she has hers pierced. LOL.
