Maybe they didn't have a full-out fart. Maybe it was just a silent one that no one could sense but it's a natural thing and it happens all the time.

So yes, I'm a chick and I will admit to farting in public. I don't think I've ever done it outloud but hey.. it happens and I HATE it when people make such a big deal out of it. Some people can be so immature.

I have a way of making my farts come out silently. It's kinda weird and hard to explain. o_O [Yes, I farted in public once or twice but not out loud].

An average human being farts 2 pints of gas a day. If you bottled up all that gas in the whole state of Rhode Island (in 24 hours), it could fill up a large hot air balloon. It is perfectly natural and sometimes you really need to "pass gas", but society has made it a rule that it's bad to fart. Which really sucks because your body's just naturally releasing gas and you can't do it in public or people will laugh at you. Yeah.. Stupid rules of propriety.

Heck yes. I mean it's only natural as some of you have mentioned here. Lucklily when I ever I have farted in public mine have silent ones. However I once when I was in school and during a test in mid silence a classmate decided to let one rip. It sounded like a foghorn and smelled like a sewer line broke! Everyone including the classmate thought it was funny, the teacher however showed no sense of humour. Go figure. Nothing more worse than trying to hold in the ass gas! LOL!
