I'm not a fan of blinky boxes, they're really overused. And (haha) I assume you're Allen? Interesting idea. But you may want to blend the banner in with the background, which by the way, I love.

it is default. the blinkies are kinda thin. and i can see the edge of the banner. add a border, or blend it.
