Why does that song go uno, dos, trece, cotorce, which means 1, 2, 3, 14 and skip 4, 5, 6, etc?? that's weird, i just seen this on SNL and i was wondering

haha my friend was talking about that yesterday..it came on the radio on the way to dairy queen and he was like "I HATE THIS SONG! i like his irish better, at least he can speak that!" hahaha 
Hahaha, yes, I wondered that too. My best friend pointed it out to me one day when the song was still new and was like, "Did you notice that 'Vertigo' goes, 'One, two, three, FORTY!!!'?" 
I'm guessing it's because they needed a certain amount of syllables so the line wouldn't sound weird.

Actually catorce is fourteen, cuarenta is forty. Anyway, it's kinda random to bump this topic but oh well...
As mentioned before, it's U2, they can basically do whatever they want and I love them for it.

Oh, sorry about that. It was all the way back in 7th grade and I don't take Spanish. My best friend did but I guess she wasn't very good at it then.
