This is a little off topic [Sorry] but, why is it that celebrities are treated so different and they get paid a whole lot more than people who really deserve it [like teachers... firefighters.. etc.]?

And about Adriana Lima...well, she still technically a "fashion" model but most would argue she's an "import" model. Adriana's not really a top model in the industry, so people don't really care about her...(except for those people from Victoria's Secret).

I don't really care for her...I'm more interested in Gemma Ward or Daria Werbowy. But hey, she's hot, so naturally more people will like her =) And what better way than to advertise her than on Xanga and CB?
