At our school we have to wear IDs. It totally sucks! If you have to wear an ID to school what state do you live in?

in northern va, we don't.

Houston TX- Freshman do, upper classmen don't.

IL we don't have to wear ours but we have to have ours handy.

when i was in middle in washington we had ids but they served no purpose

when i was in 9th in washington we had ids but they also served no purpose

now im in 10th in tennessee and we dont have ids

i do. if you don't have your ID you get this yellow fake ID and if you get those for 2days straight you get a session and if you keep getting the fake IDs then you get suspended..err..so stupid

same, only i have ohio. we only need them for dances, really.
i hate them because they are very bland and plain looking.

We have IDs, but we only need the numbers on them...just to find out our grades in certain classes and for the library. They're just cards...we don't wear them. The last time I actually used it was in middle school when you needed them to get into the dances.

well, we only have like 2 or three dances a year (homecoming and prom) and by the time homecoming came around, we still didnt have our ids, so they must not have asked for them. i wouldnt know, i didnt go, but i suppose they cant have...hmmm....

Same with us, and football games. If we have a sticker on ours we get in for 1 dollar (4 dollars without it). of course it only costs 25 dollars to get the sticker...

^i know less about football games than dances, since i dont have to pay, and neither do most of my friends (well, if we werent in band, we wouldnt go anyway, but thats not the point)

but actually, we dont need ids for football games at all. just money

I only keep my id around for the library and 1/2 price movie tickets.

I live in California, and we don't have to wear ids. Instead, our high school gives us id cards...we use it sometimes but usually we use our student ID more often to identify ourselves.

i live in new york city, i don't have ids to wear... it would be really annoying if you have to wear it

But we have "buspasses"
like, when u go on a bus... u have to have it or else u get detention.. or you jsut don't ride the bus. (school bus)

I have to wear a lanyard thing with the ID. I'm use to it now.. if you don't wear it you get detention. It doesn't bother me at all..

Yea, us too. I heard the peopel in sports have to have it to even get sports equipment from their car. And if they don't have it, they can't play. :[[

Yes, and it's soo annoying, because at the start of every period the teachers check to see if your still wearing them. sucks. lol so sometimes random ppl just go up to each other in the hall and switch id's. as a protest. lol it's kinda funny when some guy comes up to me that i don't know and is like, "hey wanna switch?" and i'm like, "what the hell,,sure!" lol the teachers don't know the difference, i have no clue why we have them

i live in CA we have ID cards, and you have to have it in order to LEAVE the school.. its hell after school with a million angry people piling up at all the gates trying to get out, but they have to check EVERY persons ID before you leave and you also need it if you want to use the computers or if you want to check your grades

we dont wear them. we have to carry our agenda books around school as our hall pass if that what you mean...but we dont like have our pictures on them or anything =/...ill get one in hs htough

we have ID's. I live in Illinois. they tell us if we don't have them on us the teachers could give us detentions. but nobody really cares. not even the teachers so it doesn't really matter.

We have IDs but you don't have to wear them, the only reason we have them is because a lot off ppl ride Marta (the train/bus system) and because you get your movie half priced with it...if i had to wear my ID at school, i'd hate it my ID picture is hellah ugly!

We dont wear ID's BUT we do get some... so we can use them for things like discounts and stuff at some stores at times or just ID.

Yes, we HAVE to wear ID's at school. It's this thing to prevent a terrorist attack or something. If we get caught without it, we have to be escorted to the office. We even have to scan in at school.

California - We don't have to wear ours.. I just keep mine in my wallet. We use ours for the bus.. lunch.. and "Zero-Detention Dances" ..soo yup
