Buying a Skyline will cost you not that much but getting it to pass inspection from state and federal government will cost MUCHO cash. If you go past the MotoRex factory you see skylines lined up in front as a showcase.

all you gotta know is that, a stock z06 will outhandle and will destroy it also in straight line racing.

and if you wanna say, a modded skyline would kill the z06, well, a modded z06 would kill the skyline.

but the skyline has more technology than we will ever know about.. in canada they have a law that says any car that is 15 years old+ is fair game, so the 1989 r32 skyline is legal there as of august. over here, it's a 25 year rule =\

Well, I'm pretty sure a "modded" Nissan Skyline can beat a "modded" Chevy Corvette Z06. The Nissan Skyline is an awesome machine, I haven't seen a Corvette that has come close to it or even match it's amazing grace and power.

fastest drag cars = domestic. they're meant for straight line racing where as imports are meant for an all around nice handling and decent speed. we live in amerca though (well atleast i do). to make a skyline have as much power as a z06, it would cost you an arm and a leg. everything would have to be imported from a different country, where as chevy parts are manufactured over here and are ALOT cheaper.

well.. the skyline has a heavy body kit even tho its fast ... it would be dangerous to race lol .. unless ur just showing off to race. It wouldn't win in a raining race or a rally race cause its a 2 - wheel drive not a 4 wheel drive.

what are you talking about. the skyline GT-R is AWD, and the GT-S is RWD. The gt-r sends more power to the rear wheels at high speeds for even better acceleration, yet it's still awd, and you could always turn that off

and the evo is a 4 cylinder, so it's not a twin turbo.. only single.

Just move to Japan and go buy yourself one, you can easily find one under 20k. It'll be much cheaper than brining it over here. You have to consider that you'll be buying a used one. Nissan stop producing these machines as of dec. 02 as for making the skyline legal here, there's a company called MotoRex that imports them over here. Getting the car to pass emission would be the easiest thing to do; it’s the safety standards that are a bit hard. In order to bring a car that isn't originally here in the U.S you must do crash testing and see if it meets the U.S safety laws. Crash testing is very expensive! Haha
