ok, i have a question, you know that RIAA stands for Recording Industry Association of America, and well, they catches people who illegally download music. So if i download music that is not by American artists or american company, could they still sue me?
satisfied-tom
RIAA is all over the place. I think you can get caught downloading any kind of music.

you can only be sued by the RIAA if the artist you are pirating is a member of the RIAA.

however, just because you're not getting caught doesn't mean it's not wrong. buy the cd man.

but it's not an american artist so it's not in the american industry so what does it have to do with RIAA.

If you weren't in America it would be fine.
But the music is still Sold in America, so some industry is in the states.
I'm not too sure.
And I think they're only nabbing KaZaA users.
