yeah i was recently hospitalized for an eating disorder... and now after comming back to school (after missing about 3 months) things are so different.. and all my friends totally dont get it.. and yeah sometimes it really does get hard. (im not trying to make you all pity me.. im just telling you)so heres a poem i wrote:


Assumptions

Though you cannot see it
the pain is entirely in existance
Though she fights and fights it
theres still isnt any resistance
its something she will struggle with
each and every day.
Though she tries and tries
this monster still won't go away.
it has turned her friends against her.
her mind wants to be left free.
inside she is very well dying-
but its the outside you can only see.
if only they knew of the thoughts
that currupt this helpless girls head.
if only they knew how guilty she felt
when she cried alone on that hospital bed.
you have no idea what it's like
not being able to do the things you love to do.
you think shes blowing you off.
But she really wishes you only really knew.
