Jasc Paint Shop Pro <- Recommended for beginners.
C.Lime.Jello.
...... Usually people use Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.
There are several other programs and if you don't want to pay tons either get it off a file-sharing program (not naming any...) or type in 'free graphics program' in Google.
There are many free graphic editing programs, pick one you like and go with it.

well, there's a lot actually. I used macromedia flash mx 2004, macromedia dreamweaver 2004, macromedia fireworks, microsoft frontpage, photoshop CS v8.0 & v7.0, Imageready, like what everyone says, psp v8.0, animation shop, adobe Illustrator, photoimpression, bryce 5, corel draw, MS paint, and that's basically the programs I used and It's works perfectly good. except for making games, you used 3d max for that, though it's also good for making 3d objects. these are only the programs that I have and I know of. anything else? tongue.gif
