I just finished reading "My Sister's Keeper" by Jodi Picoult. Box of tissues is definitely recommended-- this is the first book that has ever made me cry.

The Five People You Meet In Heaven, and Tuesdays With Morrie. The Green Mile made me tear up, though. Usually it's the movies that make me bawl like a little baby (even the chick flicks).

That is the same with me see.Yes one time my mom came in the room when I was reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows she looked at me and asked me if I was o.k. because I was crying so hard during a death scene I also cried hysterically at the end of it because I was sad that the series was over.

It's not a romance or a sad book, but there's a very sad bit at the end.

And Harry Potter, but not when anyone died, but when he realises he has to die to kill Voldemort. That was very well written and was quite sad, IMO.
Sorry, I really need to pay more attention and stop double posting >_<

DAMN IT! I avoided the Harry Potter thread like the plague so I wouldn't read any spoilers. This just completely ruined it--with work and some form of a social life, I haven't had time to finish it.

Oh, my, I get quite emotional when it comes to a well written book.
-Harry Potter
-Twilight
-Five People You Meet in Heaven
-The Lovely Bones
-My Sister's Keeper (even though im getting tired of jodi picoult...she needs to try something new, all her books are basically the same...)
-Of Mice and Men (ok, so i wasnt really CRYING, but i definetly teared up)
I'm sure there are more, but I'm drawing a blank at this point in time

I cried when I read Night outloud. I had read it once before that and didn't cry, but it was something about saying the words.
I also cried reading some things from What Was Asked of Us. Otherwise, I don't really get emotional over books.

Every Harry Potter book has made me cry.
Of Mice and Men.
Catcher in the Rye.
Really, any book that I have the patience to read will probably make me cry.

Definitely the dragonlance saga with Raistlin Majere (my admirable namesake!)
Time of the Twins
War of the Twins
Test of the Twins
About bawled my eyes out of their sockets on the last one. It's always the supreme sacrifices that get me choked up.
Oh, and The Lord of The Rings - where Sam finds Frodo after his encounter with Shelob. 'Don't go where I can't follow!'
Ulp.

No, but one story made me incredibly sad. I read "Flowers For Algernon" while I was sleeping at my cousin's house with my ex. I couldn't sleep so I stayed up in the morning time reading, and after I finished, all I wanted to do was talk about it with my ex. I did but her dumbass didn't care.
