Times Like These

It’s times like these I wonder if I’ll be alright
Wither or not I’m prepared To stand alone and fight
It just seems like lately Nobody’s by my side
Through all the pain I feel In whom do I confide?
I have so many things I want to get off my chest
Like what is bothering me And memories I want to rest
In this world, so lonely and dark I feel as if I’m locked away
I try so hard to find myself But I can’t even find my way
I get lost and I feel broken It’s those words that you’ve spoken
You wont amount to anything So give up on your childish dreams
It’s times like these I wonder if I’ll be alright

yeah there is a song called times like these i belive by the goo-goo dolls, but my poem is totally different.

why thank you very much and who knows maybe one day i will be in a lit book! :-) or at least that's my dream, i have them published now, just need them in a book. lol. i rhyme a little too much...if a poem doesn't rhyme when i right it i get annoyed....lol

Yah it's really good!!! i have a suggestion tho, near the end, like the last couple of lines try to ryhme a lil better. like with the words "anything" trying to rhyme with "dreams' besides that, i think its awesome
