Ever notice though that you can tell what people listen to by the way they dress. The music we listen too greatly influences how we dress. I always thought that was a weird phenomenon.

Actaully emo is pretty easy for me to understand, since it's short for emotional. But I don't really know what bands are and aren't Emo bands, It's hard enough keeping up with the regular categories (Metal, Alternative, Punk) but splitting them into subcategories? (Nu Metal, Hardcore, Goth metal). I like songs by bands like boxcar racer and stuff liek that.

Im not emo. I listen to ALOT of emo music, cuz i can sometimes relate to what they talk about. anyway, i dress like a total prep most of the time. i got the prep/skater look. if u havent noticed u dont DRESS EMO..its just music not ur life. emo means ur emotional, and i am emotional but not when im around people. i listen to the music i write poems but its not like a style and u definatly cant dress emo.. they have so called "emo glasses" but theyre just the old type of glasses. i got a pair myself. so i dont kno how the hell u can HATE emo people. its not possible. only if theyre WAYYYYYYY too emotional, which is pretty gay if u are a guy.
