i have a question to all the girls out there or maybe even guys but i doubt it...
what do you think about the pill that came out a while ago to reduce the number of periods to 4 a year. the fda even approved it since it came out and i think it's called seasonale or something/ i'm pretty sure that's not healthy because you need to have regular periods every month in order to be "clean" and healthy and stuff like that. so its you know cool that someone actually came up with something like this, but its also not very safe. so what do you think?

they don't seem all that great.. your period becomes more irregular.but I wouldn't really know. I never used them and I have no intentions of doing so. I kind of feel more healthy when my period comes on a daily basis. yes, i'm odd.

my friend has taken them and she is just fine. shes one lucky bitch, only 4 periods. if it wasnt healthy, the FDA would not of approved it

yeah if it was harmful in any way it wouldn`t have been approved. so it has to be okay to take.

Hmn..It would be nice, but I think I like knowing that my period is coming every month, especially if I've been involved in uh..sexual stuff, but yeah thats just my opinion.

Not true look what's happening with all the recalls on Vioxx. They approved it and it did harm.

I agree with you that it's not healthy. We're gonna need our periods every month & taking that pill which makes it come 4 times a year can cause harm ..

the chemicals will stay in your body for years, they are difficult to digest
if u eat alot
the accumulated chemicals will lead u to diseases or maybe death

i use to take em' when my period meet a swimming competition.
it will do but it's not gd for your body.
so better not touch em'

Just b/c the Fda approved it doesn't mean there aren't harmful side effects. Each body reacts differently to medication. so as for me, i don't need birth control yet, and i would rather just stick to the nasty old periods every month, than consuming more problems than i started out with.

those doesn't soundd safe, you need your regular period. you might now be able to have a baby if you take those pills. which is bad.

Well, these kinds of pills have been around for a while. Since Seasonale is FDA approved...it should have minor or no side-effects for you.

It's good for girls that have major cramps who have to deal with all the pain. This will only allow them to have four times in a year where they have to deal with cramps. Good stuff =)
