Despair

Your look is strong, your feet are firm,
For in your heart, you are full of concern,
You fight for peace, you fight for love,
Willing to give the world, the starting shove.

And through the heart wrenching falling rain,
You stand up tall, and take the pain,
You give us promising faith, and hope,
Your honour purifies us like cleansing soap.

Your courage and bravery tells us how much you care,
And how much you want your life to be shared,
For it was us you fought for, even though it wasn't fair,
So thanks for your precious gift, ridding our despair.

Courage shining,
Unnecessary dying,
Loved ones lost,
Hope is tossed,
All the hatred,
Precious moments sacred,
Tears are flooding,
Minds are shutting,
Families broken,
Unbearable pain awoken.
