What do you find easier to do:

Write Stories for yourself
Write Poems for yourself
Write Stories as an assignment
Write Poems as an assignment

I personally find it easier to do the first two things, i hate doing things as an assignment, even if i do it well, i always have grammtical errors, and such&such.

The first two without a doubt! The last two become restrained which is a nuisance at times when you try to express yourself

I can see why people would pick the last two - Sometimes you need something to guide you when you write, to avoid killing yourself from trying to break through Writer's block.

first two. freestyle. like art. when you draw freestyle it comes out great. if your drawing for homework you have to draw it the way they make you.

i guess the popular answer would be the first two because of freedom to write, expression of personal writing styles, and all that good stuff. i would have to say last two, though, because sometimes i need that little push to produce something, and when i do get it, everything becomes easier.
