Full Version: Sirius: Alive or Dead?
Is Sirius Black alive or dead?
I believe he's alive.. I'm in denial from what happened to him in Book 5.
bleh i was extremely sad about him dyin in da 5th book. but he prolly is dead. stupid magic spell...

All right..I think he's alive..you know why?
1. He was hit with the Stunning Spell..because if you read the book closely..it says that he was hit with a jet of RED light..not green..and red light is the stunning spell..so when he was hit with that light from Bellatrix..he was merely stunned.
2. JK Rowling stated that Sirius's mirror plays a vital role in the later books. However, if Sirius is dead..how can Harry communicate with anyone through Sirius's mirror?
3. Harry Potter follows LOTR..and Gandalf was believed to have died right? So the same with Sirius..
4. Sirius might come back as a painting..because in the Hogwarts Office..when a headmaster or headmistress dies..they become a painting to guide the future headmaster or headmistress in their term..So why can't a similar charm be placed on the Black house?

There are only seven books, 5th = later, no?
i think he's alive. it seems like somethin jk rowling would do.

well, honestly, youre way behind the rest of the civilized world, so i dont feel the slightest bit of pity for you, as i dont know anyone over the age of 10 who hasnt read them multiple times. my 7 year old cousin even has, so hop on the band wagon...
oh, yeah, hes definitely alive. my friend and i read about the same pace, so the moment he finished the book he emailed me about how he was sure he was still alvie which i had been thinking too. theyre going to bring him back, im sure
ok, i sounded awfully sure of myself there so now hes going to be dead, but oh well

if you think about it, they could have used the time turner for everything. she should have never stuck it in the book in the first place.

Er..o_O..yeah there are seven books..but the fifth one is out..it's called "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix".. What I listed were the reasons as to why I think Sirius is still alive..
And as for the time turner..I don't it'll work...because if they used it..then Harry and everyone will be seeing themselves coming out of nowhere and pushing Sirius out of the way so he won't get hit..it won't work..they saw him die..but when they used the time turner for Buckbeak..they just heard a "whack"..they didn't hear him die..u knw?
And as for the people that haven't read it yet..GET READING!
