Did any of you guys see SNL last night when Ashlee Simpson performed? I wanted to but I missed it. My mom heard on the radio today that on SNL Ashlee was lip syncing (dunno if i spelled that right) and her vocals that were on the tape and her band didnt match up, so everything was out of sync and she got mad and stormed off the stage. pretty funny, huh?

really? omg, i wish i saw it! did she storm off in the middle of the song?

..shoot. I didn't watch it. hehehe and people call her more 'talented' then Jessica

When I watched the first performance, I thought to myself that it was a bit too good to be live because, as we all know, Ashlee Simpson can't sing for crap. When the second performance came along ... there was a technical difficulty and the playback from the FIRST song played with vocals and everything .... so it was basically obvious that she lip sync'ed the first time around. I wasn't really bothered by that though ... since most performers lip sync nowadays.

But what DID bother me was that she blamed everything on her band after the show when it obviously was not their fault. More the fault of the person backstage with the playback machine ...

haha yea i saw it! it was so sad... but she couldn't even sing to begin with anywazs.. what happened was that they PRESS the wrong track on the player... so it was actually recorded.. so the band wasn't even playing for real too, and u could hear the recoded voice singing, while she stood there not moving her lips cuz it was the wrong song...its sad how the whole band and her is fake...

haha, yeah i saw that. when she first sang, my brother was like, she's lip synching. and then when it was her turn to perform again, and the tape was replayed, it was so obvious. it was really funny.

Not saying I like her, but you know, some managers make their performers lip sync at some performance to protect their voice. Does she have a big tour coming up or something?

yea that was funny!!!!! they played the tape for a few seconds and ashlee didn't have the mic up to her mouth..... and the band kept playing even though they were playing the same song they just played a few mins. before...... it was like they were playing as nothing was wrong.

It was pathetic of her to blame her band. How can she say her band started playing the wrong song when you can hear that they were playing the song she was supposed to sing?! And that doesn't excuse the tape playing "Pieces of Me"... computer glitch my butt.

She got caught and instead of living up to it, she's going to blame her band and her record company's going to blame it on a computer glitch? If I was her band, I'd quit.
