Ok i don't know about anyone else but im kinda confused about the new show laguna beach on mtv. the question is....is it real or is it just acting? is it kinda like undressed without the sex(yet) or what?AHHH!!!

I think it's real. They make it seem as if it's fake, but I'm pretty sure it's reality.

I'm pretty sure its real .... The show is too boring to be fake, its gotta be real.

The whole concept of the show is what MTV was hoping would carry the show. They just filmed a group of seniors in their last year of high school .... There's nothing fake about it.

I was confused on that, too, man.

So I looked it up.

The only reason I was confused is because the show set up is so nice, yet it sucks.

I think it's scripted. LIke - a show. MTV did that before. It's like there kinks they love to throw at the audience. Right?

They had their own shows that were like soap operas.
And then tehre was that special "lost" seaon of Real World. that was just a scripted story. (Entertaining I thought)

And when I saw the trailers for Laguna Beach, I totally thought its one of them lovely scripted reality-lookin shows they love to do once ina while.

EDIT: Hmm, i looked it up at mtv.com, and they say its real. Ok. =) I guess. I still doubt its real. Maybe they editted it really really nicely.

it seems fake because how can they not make any talkin mistakes but the way they film is makes it seem real

i think its real..cos its almost exactly what my friends and i went thru my senior yr..LoL

it is real, i saw it and when you see their faces, you know those people cant act. lol.

i thought it was real but now it seemed fake for some reason.

I think it's based on one girl's summer, but they retell it using actors and they probably add stuff to make it more interesting.
