3 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup milk
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 cup (1 stick) melted, cooled butter
1 cup raisins

Preheat oven to 400 degrees (F).
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and spices in large mixing bowl.
Combine eggs, milk, pumpkin, and butter.
Stir into flour mixture just until all ingredients are combined.
Stir in raisins.

Fill buttered 2 3/4-inch muffin cups, two-thirds full. Bake 15 to 18 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Serve warm or cold.
