Hrm, I really want to start seeing Sam (rainydaiis) and Mike (dispn0ygonekrazy) start posting some work that doesn't have to do with love.

I'm getting a little tired of seeing the same things over and over...

Try writing with some different inspiration and see how that turns out. You won't know your capabilities without working your way outside of what you're used to, especially if it's along the lines of utilizing the same topic over and over.

Again, it's self-expression and of course completely your choice. It's great you guys are able and willing to open up with your emotions about such a sensitive subject. All I'm suggesting is that maybe challenging yourself to write on different things will help you grow as a writer, and help you further express yourself to the fullest, especially when it comes to an all too common subject such as love.

Good work so far...Any other suggestions/advice/help you guys need, just ask.

Yeah, it gets kinda boring just reading love poems/stories that are similar (if not virtually the same). Like Mel said, some variety would really do this forum wonders. (the writing forum)

I never said anything about only writing about Death. They choose what they want to write. I just made the point that they should open up their options when it comes to writing.

I'm sure you don't want to read 'depressing' work, but honestly, not everything can be about bunnies and flowers. Sorry to be harsh, but, I believe the best writing is the one that reflects the authors inner most emotions, life experiences and views on life. This makes it even easier for an audience to relate and highly appreciate their work . Many people have had their lives changed over pen on paper, emotions translated into words. Why? Because of ideals, struggle, self-conflict and discovery, and truth.



I'm glad that I made that much of a difference. By all means, you can turn to me for help when it comes to writing. I actually love writing essays for school too, which is pretty pathetic, but I see it as challenges - for myself as a writer. At least that's what gets me through them.

i dont mind alot of love poems, there are so many things to express about love...there is also love in death...just do it in an original unique and expressive way....no more adolescent/teen/preteen oh im going to kill myself and my bf sucks oh yeah my parents do too "I WANT THIS CHICK SO BAD BUT SHE THINKS IM UGLY AND STUPID BECAUSE...IAM!" crap...

Not many have discovered this part of cB... that just might be a good thing considering the fact that most cB members can't even spell simple words of the english language correctly... Sad thing is, they do that on purpose.
