Face Covered With Tears
So many words I can't express
As this insanity finally brings me to rest
Why did we have to lose it all?
Now no one is there to witness me fall
All is lost
And never to return
Forever these held back tears
Will internally burn
Struck with this internal conflict
That just doesn’t have an answer
This doubt plagues my mind
Spreading throughout my body like a cancer
All that I’ve hoped for
Has hastily been taken away
So many things I’ve wished for
Just to end up crying, nothing to say
If you really cared and knew
Then maybe you’d see
All the bruises, scars, and cuts
Carved oh so deeply within me
Friends are lost
And now I don’t care
Why should I think of them?
When for me, they were never there
So go to hell
And rot within your pleasures
For I will never forget
That this pain is to stay with me forever
Go and leave me here
For I will not surrender to your lies
I will not sit and wait for you to come around
Just looking at you, burns my eyes
Left alone once again
I guess I always knew
It’d be like this in the end
I just wished that it wouldn’t be with you
Lost without hope
Saddened without fear
Don’t turn back to bother and check up on me
For you wouldn’t even recognize this face covered with tears
