Actually, you can get pregnant before you have your period...

But it REALLY isn't a good idea to even consider having sex until you've had you period for a while...
Ideally, people shouldn't have sex until they're married, or at least adults, and able to care for the baby if she does get pregnant. Reality is, that doesn't happen... So she should wait until she finds someone whom she really cares about an who really cares about her. For one, that'll make it better. Two, that probably won't happen until she's more grown up and better suited. 12 year olds having sex...

You can always make up lies. I mean she's 12. She won't know the difference!

Tell her she can get AIDS, pregnant, STDs, and all that other stuff. It's not a fun thing and ask her if that's what she wants to live with for the rest of her life. Dropping out of school with a big belly? Not a pretty picture. Surf up pictures on the internet to show her how horrible a life like that can be if you're really young.

Keep trying to tell her it will be a big mistake. And that there are so many consequences that could happen. She'll lose her virginity at a young age, she could risk pregnancy, and also the guy might have one of those "one night stands" with her. She shouldn't even be thinking about sex at all.

But if she still chooses to, it's her choice and she'll ahve to live with it for the rest of her life. Plus, it's a known fact that if you had sex at a VERY young age, people with think you are slutty, even if you were raped. That's what people will think, even if she isn't slutty or anything.

You guys, horrible advice. The only way teenagers learn to not do something is by first hand experience. Let her have sex, any way she wants it.
