like ive done it alot of time and i never get a reaction...and it urts..like what ami doin wrong?? am i just plain ugly...or not wanted or what?!?!? like ive told soo many guyz and they never have a reaction so should i stop and wait ...for some one to tell me or just keep trying??

Well, when I first read what you said, I imagined a girl perking up to a guy and sunnily going, "I like you!", and that isn't such a good way to approach.

Otherwise, it depends on the guy... what I do (I'm a guy) when I want to let someone know is by first researching on her on how she reacts to different types of people... Then subtly telling her, like giving her a gift, or talking to her more...

Id much rather the girl flirt and not tell me right away. The curiousity between me and the girl of "does she/he like me" thing is something that doesnt really happen that often. It shouldnt really be said in words anyways. It should be shown in actions.

I know what you mean. Im known as the friend-figure as well. Anytime a move is made, the words "I dont want to mess up our friendship." slips out of their mouths. Atleast it isnt "I just want to be friends."

It would be a real change if a girl came up to me and be like "Whats up? You wanna go out?" I would be shocked at first, but I always give people a try before i truly judge and see if I like them.

Anyhoo, it would be better if you knew the guy for a long time and then you tell him that you like him.

It would definitely be a lot helpful if the girl comes straight on and tell you that she has a crush on you. I wish some did that to me. But I do understand that is is awkward when the guy doesn't respond well to it, probably cause they're in shock, or that they don't like the girl.

Mainly because now a lot of girls will flirt with a guy. and flirting has seemed to change with the times. Before, if a girl flirted with u a lot it ment she liked u, if she huged u or kissed u on the cheek, it USUALLY ment she liked u, but now its just another damn form of flirting

Wow...that must take guts. Anyway, I agree with some people ^^, I think it's better if a girl hints that she likes a guy because that way, both the guy and the girl can get a little bit of an idea about how they feel about each other without saying it outright and risking getting hurt feelings.

i don't really care but its all good either way... it takes away from the part that makes you think "no, i wont ask her out cuz i think she doesnt like me" and stuff.

You shouldn't be too forward. You should only tell someone you like them when you are pretty sure that they have feelings for you too, otherwise there is nothing to expect but hurt from it.

i've done that before, because i knew that he liked me and so i told him, "you know, if you do like me, i want you to know that the feeling is mutual". and afterwards we stopped talking.
