How do you girls maintain your weight/sexy bod!!... it doesnt matter if youre over 180lbs... pls be honest about it... because I know ALOT of girls who does "STARVATION DIET"... and I mean like skipping launches, eating only ONE meal a day... i mean i know its tough to lose weight, coz they are lazy to work out and stuff.... there are other healthy diets out there that u girls should try.. EAT EVERYDAY! drink lots of water!!

so u work out or what?

hmm... some people have fast metabolisms.. i know this girl who eats tons.. and she's still as skinny as a rail pinch.gif

anyway.. i just try not to eat alot of junk food.. and I used to excersize by riding a bike.. but since school started i havent had time. And I want my stomach to be flat so I do crunch-type exercises

I don't usually have too much time to work out, but what I do is walk every chance I get. If I have an opportunity to walk to work instead of drive I do. I eat regular meals and have maintained my 135 weight for years now. On my days off I get out so I can be active. I think it's all about getting out and doing something. Obviously if somebody wants a hard body then they will definitely have to work out more. I think alot of girl's problems are that they look to extensively at their weight. It's not too much about the weight, it's more along the lines of 1] feeling good about yourself and 2] knowing that you look good. There are some women with a higher body weight that look really good and don't look "fat".

And the problem with the starvation diet is that it makes it harder to lose weight if you are trying. Starving yourself only makes your body go into a mode where it stores everything [fat, calories, carbss, etc.] because it doesn't know when it's next meal will be. So don't skip your meals, eat them ladies. Just watch your portions, that's the important part. Besides it's been proven snacking or eating many small meals throughout the day raises your metabolism. Ultimately helping you to lose the weight you want to faster. wink.gif So I know I added more than maybe I should have, but uh yeah... _smile.gif

yea some girls luckily have super fast metabolisms..1 of my riends.eats all the time and eats like a monster... catch up, mayonaise, mustard ... w/e alllll over her face when she eats a burger its crazy. and shes still a twig

I think my metabolism got faster....cuz I lost 5lbs. since thursday and it was sunday when i checked again.........so that was the most i lost.... but i was still eating...not much...but eating

I work out when I feel like it but it helps me when I'm stressed out. I also try not to eat alot of unhealthy food. But I've never starved myself. Thats just not the way to lose weight.

That's right. One of my friends told me that she saw a show on TV that talked about all different types of diets and which ones are good for you. The starvation diet is really bad and actually might make you gain weight. When you don't eat, your body stores a lot more of the fats and calories which slows down your metabolism. There was an interesting diet though that has you cut down your portions and eat healthy foods and then one day out the the week, you can eat anything you want (pizza, ice cream, whatever) because your body will be thinking "okay, back to normal....lets speed up the metabolism again" and so you will actually be losing weight by eating the things that you want.

On another note, I'm pretty physically active in sports and training for triathlons. When I was in 6th grade I weighed a lot more than I do now but about 3 years ago I started training for a triathlon, and I started losing weight and have kept losing weight ever since. I've lost about 40 pounds all together. I basically eat anything that I want but I only eat when I'm hungry and I stop when I'm full. Most of the time we tend to run to the pantry or fridge if we are bored. If you eat only when you are hungry and stop when you are truly full, you probably will never have that much of a weight problem.

i became a vegan... and I do dance in my free time... and i have this annoying metabolism where i can eat like a whole cake and lose 3 pounds. i hate it pinch.gif

eh, you really shouldn't be starving yourself because it only loses muscle. but, i don't really work out, and i'm not skinny. i usually run though and try to eat healthy

i just do the regular sports that i do at school..i lose a lot of weight that way but i'm not like concentrating on it.....i don't think i'm too skinny but before the summer i was 105 pounds & then after (now) i'm 120 lol but that's usually how my body is - i usually lose a lot of weight after doing sports..it really depends on your body..i also have a fast metabolism so that also helps

My sexy body? LMAO! Whatever you say about it...it's all about the massive hours of DDR, about 1 or 2 meals a day, and crunches.

work out. at least try to do 50 situps/crunches a day, and 10 push-ups if you don't want flabby arms. if you can't do 50 situps all at once, break it up into smaller groups and do a few whenever you get a chance.

eat when you're hungry. if you're always hungry at a certain time, find out how to have food with you just then. don't always eat at lunch just because it's lunch time. if you're not hungry, then you probably shouldn't eat. also, theoretically your body doesn't digest the same way after about 9 pm, so it's easier to gain weight if you eat then? but if that's when you're hungry, that's probably the best time to eat. try to make just a few little choices every day that are a bit more healthy, like water/milk instead of soda, things like that.

drinking water works a lot different though, and that's really important to stay healthy. always drink water. you've probably heard this before, but by the time you get thirsty you're already dehydrated.

hmm.. eat. then eat some more. tell myself i will do crunches, then end up eating some more. i find it hard to believe that i actually don't weigh more than i should, and the doctor said i don't weigh enough for my height.. blink.gif very odd how that works out.

but yea i run a lot, so that prolly gets rid of every calorie i intake... haha.

No, I don't. But the thing is, I've got a really really good matabilism so even though I'm 14, I only weight 90 pounds with a 4 pack. I don't get how I got my abs either. I hardly ever do anything besides eat on the couch and watch T.V. HAHA!
I eat SOO much during lunch and dinner..

I used to skip lunch last year in 6th grade, I didnt think it was all that big of a deal. Besides, most of the time, I ate like a pig when I got back home laugh.gif

i dun really work out cuz like u said...i'm too lackadaisical...lol. (throw a big word at ya! lol) but i just eat smaller portions and try to eat healthier. but when it comes to breakfast i just eat regular amount of portions maybe more cuz i have my fave cereal! lol. coco pebbles!!! lol. plus, days i eat like a pig (basically most days! lol) but i still have da same weight...weird. wacko.gif lol

well Im really fit and im average but I weigh 186lbs. the actual problem is that 106lbs of it is PURE muscle becuase Im in so many sports like softball and basketball....but truthfully, Im really toned. But 186lb mann!!! Im trying to get to 200lb and get like 115lbs of it to be muscle....ooo that reminds me to sign up for weights next year LoL but anways...I dont do diets and I try to eat right but my family isnt exactly health nuts LoL

I wouldnt worry about being skinny becuase in the long run, it wont matter anyways >.<

haha well im 5"2 and 135 but ppl say i dont look fat at all just built~ so i dono =S haha~ but i do excercise a lot and i eat like a pig. but my metabolism just quicken up recently? haha~ although im 135 which is considered a lot for ppl at my skoo im fitter than anyone who's like 105 _smile.gif

i play tennis and badminton, so those get my upper body. for my lower body, i do wall sits--get those 90 degree angles! lolz happy.gif

yeah some people just are lucky enough to have a good metabolism rate. others not so much. i just try to eat 3 meals a day and not snack if possible and very little pop/junk food. i also try to exercise a bit whenever i can. i also take dance classes so that helps too.

I walk around campus all day from class to class, then sit on my lazy butt on the computer doing homework while eating popcorn. then have sex occassionally... this along with my fast metabolism keeps my body looking good.

oh, and i've never starved myself. i eat like a pig.

what my friend said today...her secret is to eat whatever you want and run ur butt off!!! and she's skinny as a rail...shes in cross country...which might explain it...

hrmm...to me, the hard part to resist is probably ice tea and stuff with sugar..like bubble gum and stuff..

never starve yourself..... just eat right.. dont eat steak or greasy fried stuff... dont eat fastfood even if u say u just ate one burger and fries.. thats like 10000000 calories and fat..

i hav cross country practice everyday for 2hrz n i hav fast matab. too.... i actualy tried gainin weight... yea sounds weird... but i kant.... i end upp losin weight instead o_O

i eat all the junk food i want, i never ever excercise, i sit down on my ass all day in front of the computer and TADA!! I don't gain an ounce... Thank god I have such great metabolism, but eh, it's not gonna last forever pinch.gif

actually, my p.e teacher told me, that if you eat a lot and it doesnt show on your body, (as in your metabolisms fast) than all the fat is around your heart, which is obviously bad. there is a way to gain weight in a healthy way!

i too am quite glad i have a fast metabolism, since i eat like a pig...but i still exercise just to be healthy since my family has numerous illnesses and i already have lupus..so i play volleyball and basketball.
oh yeah, i do yoga everyday and im vegan but thats more of a mind/soul thing..

i guess im lucky? i eat jus bout everything i want even though i shouldnt and i know i should be eatin some more healthy stuff. and i play sports. water polo and swimming so i get fit doing that. and for water polo we run too so i get a good workout.
