My parents are like really overprotective of me are ures overprotective at all?

Totally...actually mainly my dad. He rarely let's me go to sleepovers in case "anything bad happens" i mean..c'mon, im old enough, aren't i? well yahhh...i hate it!

Ahaha, I voted for hell yeah, even though they're not bad sometimes. I guess they know I'm getting older... Although they won't let me stay home alone, or go on the bus with friends + date. Ah well, I know they love me

oooo yeah. very. i'm just about 16 and i still can't do a lot. i'm lucky i'm able to have a boyfriend (well i'd probably still be with him if i wasn't allowed but anyways...) but there are soo many rules in place its unbelievable. it sucks cause my friends parents aren't so bad.

If my mom found out I had a boyfriend (which I don't, btw) she would probably freak out and slap me and through me out of the house. I don't know about you, but that doesn't seem very protective to me...

She won't let me wear anything "too revealing." It's not revealing at all. I tell her some girls at school wear halter tops with bras with straps (um...ew?) and the back always comes down and you can see the back clip part of the bra. And she's calling me revealing?!?!? All I wanted to wear was a scoop neck. >.<

sometimes they can be, when im with guys they'll go crazy! but it was never much of a problem because they trust me.

Then they don't want you to experience more things and get more mature but you're perfectly old enough to new chores for them. Do you get it? I'm kinda confused myself.

she wont even let me go to the movies ! well i go to the movies sometimes my friends they could go to the movies every friday i cant ! and i think my mom needs anger management she gets mad easily and she always yell at me or slap me .... that sometimes make me rebel and even think about suicide

my mom used to not ever want to let us out of the house but my dad would let us go. we would just ask our dad. Ever since he's passed, my mom doesn't seem to care very much about what we do. Well, only sometimes.

I had to beg my parents to sleep over my best friend's house ((she has 2 older brothers one I loved to death, as a brother that is)) But my dad makes upfor it by spoiling me. Not too sure if that's good for me, lol. When I'm 15, everything will be different. Parents are only looking towards what they think is the best for their children, although it may not always be.

It used to be heck yea! a year and a half ago, But then my parents became more lenient. In fact, my mother tells me that if I go anywhere when she's not home, I should: bring my cell, take the spare house key, close the blinds, and lock the door. Yea Although I still can't stay out past 7 or anything.. well I can but only once in a while. I shouldn't but I still do.

I'm still not allowed to date. The good thing is that I still keep my grades up, so my mother trusts me.
