Has anyone read this short story? I thought it was hilarious, although I don't believe it was intended to be. We recently read it for English, and are currently writing three different types of essays for them. What do you think about it?

Yupp!! I had to read it for an english writing assignment...it was kinda funny actually! The ending was kinda surprising

i just read in class yeaturday. at the end i was like wtf. lol then i finally got it. the endin really surprised me. i thought it was a regular lottery. i read another story by her it's called Charlie. it has a suprise ending but no so dramtic. that story)meanin the lotter) was good...sorta funny

yeah, i remember reading it in English like 3 years ago. at first i thought it was some stupid story about the actual lottery, but it turned out to be funny, in a sadistic way lol
