ohkay:
I'm kinda new to Createblog as a member and I've never posted a topic..but

I recently met this nice boy @ Brown Summer Program and we hooked up. We talked for weeks and he just came to visit me last Friday. The thing is, he lives in Cape Cod, MA and I live in Philly, PA. We both are reeeallly into eachother. We also want to take our relationship further (bf/gf thing) but we are worried about the distance. A little fact..he lives about 8 hours driving distance from me. Is it worth it? I really like this kid and I'm sure he feels the same way! Advice please!

thanks, guys! _smile.gif

its up to you if you want to go with the ldr (long distance relationship), some things to take in mind when youre making your desicion.

-do you really trust this person?
-have you ever met this person like face to face? ( never know if he could be lying to you)

hahah..nah guys...
It's not online dating.

I met the guy. We met @ Brown University's Summer Program. He was a soccer player there and I was studying psychology. We hooked up there and now we talk all time @ Home. i saw him this past friday cause he flew down to see me.

No online dating for me right now. _smile.gif

yup, it all depends on how both of u look at it and how u feel

well, if you trust him, i suggest you go for it.

I agree, it all depends on TRUST. And most of all, if you and the person you like really want to be together, you both would try hard to stay true to each other and wouldn't let distance come between yo two. Maybe like every summer, visit each other or something happy.gif And plus, you two aren't even that far! OMG there are people who date others who live like far across the nation. So don't fret wink.gif

omgoodness, long distance relationships can be really rewarding. Maybe not as rewarding physically (can hold hands and what not) but it can definitely take you to a new level of emotional bliss. I would definitely go for it!!!

no offense but LONG DISTANCED RELATIONSHIPS DONT WORK. ever. never. and wont. you and him should stay friends, keep in touch but dont date him not while you two both live far away. it's not the same as if he lived closer. i'm telling you because i dont want you to get hurt if he doesnt call you and stuff, but i think you should stay friends, maybe friends with benefits but beware of that too...the best thing i want to tell you is that if you had long distance relationships it wont fulfill the relationship of ya'lls needs. but just do what you think is right.

i think you have to ask urself do u trust him and do you trust yourself.. like with the long distance.. consider if you two would get tempted or anything.. also you dont want to be like the ones that end up like worrying and suspecting each other for cheating and stuff... personally i dink that long distance relationships dont usually work..
