i know how to image map..and everything works..and i even get the code, but when i put it into my xanga it doesn't work =( it jsut shows up as an X can anyone help!!??!! here's the code:

You have to upload your image to the net before img mapping will work.

Make sure you always put
this --> <IMG SRC='THEELLIOTPROJECT.JPG' border=0 width=731 height=615 USEMAP='#imgmap'>

Also, you have to upload your image to an image server like Photobucket.com that allows hot/directlinking (if you're going to put it on your Xanga).

o0o0o thanx so0o much..could i use imgspost instead of photobucket....cuz my friend told me the bandwith exceeds really quick on photobucket, so i used imgspot

try imageshack.us one day.
type the full url too, not imagename.blah... since its not in the same server as xanga.

i put the other code in with the code i already had..and what happend was two pictures showed up, one was the picture without the links working and the other was just an X

Yeah, I think imgspot is fine.

i don't know what's wrong cause everytime i go to view it it's just an X o well
