FFVII: Advent Children and Kingdom Hearts 2 are going to be released this year. With the fall of Squaresoft's Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, Square/Enix decided to make their own movie without the help of anyone. Final Fantasy VII:Advent Children is the first FFVII sequel to be turned into a movie. With realistic characters, new "Sephiroth", and Silver-haired enemies, it looks like it's going to be an awesome movie.

As much as this movie may look exciting, I'm not sure if the summer release is for Japan or U.S.A. (most likely Japan, though).

Kingdom Hearts 2 is scheduled for a release at the end of this year. Just in time for Christmas, I heard. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for Gameboy Advance will also be releasing. I'm more excited about this one.

which one are you looking forward to most? By the way, Final Fantasy VII:Advent Children will not be in theaters, but it will be on sale in stores in a DVD format. I'm not sure why they wouldn't put it in theaters, though

I got my EGM magazine this week and it says that the USA will be recieving the FFVII:AC copies in the Fall. So in the summer Japan will be getting the copies.


Don't worry!! We only had to wait til September/October to get our reserves in. I just hope Square/Enix USA wont mess up the covers, though. Like they did for FFx-2.

Final Fantasy Music Concert.... IN AMERICA

Square Enix USA announced today that they will finally be staging a Final Fantasy musical concert here in the U.S. Most of these events are staged in Japan only, but Square Enix USA has arranged for the concert, Dear Friends, to happen in Los Angeles on May 10th (week of E3 Expo, also in Los Angeles). The music will be performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic and will take place at Disney's new concert hall.

You'll be one of a heck of a lucky fan if you can go. This is a RARE event. Gotta thank Disney for this. It is because of them that Square decided to come here. Too bad I live in Sacramento. And too bad it's on a school day.

oooo. Now i know. I thought Adevnt Childen was gonna be a remake of the game. ok...

ffvII the movie huh? nice choice to make a movie out of. Some of my favorite characters of all time are in that one. Can't wait to see it for sure! Something like that deserves to be in theatres! It's not fair that dispite all the work they do for those graphics, they can't have the honor of it playing in one.

Kingdom Hearts though is a pretty intense scene though too. I'm really looking forward to that just as much!

I never played KH. But I get to play at little FFVII. I think it was a great game. I can't wait for this FFVII "The Advent Children" . By the way, was is the advent children? I heard that Tifa is dead or something like that from my friend.
