anybody know an ftp host that allows direct linking?

I am guessing u want a Free FTP or Host right, that enables hotlinking....... Hm........... I dunno at the momment, cause i never had to worry bout it but yea, if i remember ill look around.

its like a webhost but using FTP instead of HTTP
