when you become a teen, you often have to deal with your parents. they seem like they're stalking you 24/7. it brings more stress in your life. does that happen to you? how do you handle them?

my parents aren't the stalker type.. my mother's just really nosy but I could care less. I have nothing to hide from her.. well, nothing yet.

My parents give me more freedom, actually. THey think I'm mature enough to do what I want, but there are restrictions. THose restrictions end up being kinda...broken down after a little while.
I think I'll move this to relationships.

i have a lot of freedom...but because i have so much my parents are always poking their nose in EVERYTHING. there are just some things i dont want/need my parents to know....arg they really bother me sometimes.

you mean you feel like your parents care TOO MUCH? i kind of feel like that sometimes...like my mom won't want me to do stuff that i think i am ready for. half the time i don't tell her things...because i know that she would get even more protective of me. then you kind of have to admit that they are our parents are are trying to look out for us, it's their job

You're eleven, calm down. You'll get freedom when you're a teenager.

my parents are reallllllly nosy. especially my dad. he asks me about EVERYTHING that i say or do. he'll walk into my room without knocking... or when im just chilling with a friend he just comes in and starts talking. "so howya doin?" "gimme a kissarooni before i leave!!!" "so what have you been talking about" "are you talking about GUYS?" it gets rather old after a while. not to mention annoying. my parents hate everything that i love... they can hardly stand the fact that i dont own colorful clothing... yeh i just try to ignore them and live life the way i want to.

You say "okay.." every 1 minute or something after they finish talking. One word goes through the next ear and it's like you're not even listening. :P

i've learned a valuable lesson not listening to parents. So i tend to listen them as much as i can, well only the important stuff.
