Ok so let us assume you are involved with this guy.
Well after sometime of being involved with this guy you become involved with another guy.
Here is what I am asking you.
When breaking the news to your boyfriend that you are leaving him for someone else, would you rather have him be mad and throw a fit OR would you prefer for him to be all okay about it and say," if he makes you happy, I will forget your smile and your face and let you be with him."?
Personally I would rather have him be mad and like throw me out as opposed to the other option. It would make the break-up "easier" in my opinion.
I hope this is clear.
What would you prefer?

" if he makes you happy, I will forget your smile and your face and let you be with him."

yupp i think it'd be better if he got all mad and stuff, because knowing myself i'd probably feel really guilty and stuff, i mean i would deserve it.

I think this is a quesiton for everyone. If my girlfriend whom I was breaking up with said " if she makes you happy, I will forget your smile and your face and let you be with her." I would feel so fcuking bad.

Yeah I would feel like I'd deserve it so I rather him be mad. And if he's willing to forget about me so quickly does that mean I never meant that much to him in the first place?

I'd say get angry at me. I mean I AM leaving him for some other guy, he has the right to female dog at me. And besides, it would break my heart if he said "If it makes you happy, I'll forget about your smile, your face and everything else."

i would rather him get mad and throw a fit, but be able to control his temper. if not dont do anything crazy in front of me
to forget my smile and my face is pretty sad

i'd rather have him be really mad because if he said " if he makes you happy, I will forget your smile and your face and let you be with him." i would probably decided not to leave him...only a true gentleman and sensative guy would say that...

i would prefer that he gets mad because if he says that he'll forget my smile, i'll feel really guilty.

I'd rather have him be mad because it doesn't seem all too real if he'd be calm about it. it'd make me think he'd go kill himself later or something

He'd have a right to be mad at me.

Same as everybody. I would rather get him mad.
I don't want to bear an overwhelming guilt. I would rather be a b*tch to him than to be dragging a guy on like that.

Ouch.
Tough, though it always
depend on the people in the situation..
I gotta say give me the guy
that would say such a line and mean it,
I'd jump in his arms anyday.
~makes grabbing motions~
Hrmmm but the whole mad thing seems a lot better
then feeling gosh darn guilty
over the "awwwww"-ness of that line.
Infinite.

Uhm, probably be kind of calm about it. I don't think I would ever do that anyway, I would feel horrible and probably wouldn't be able to bring myself to go out with the other guy.

I'd rather he be mad.
If it was the other way around...man, talk about a guilt trip.

i would rather him get mad at me, rather than saying " if he makes you happy, I will forget your smile and your face and let you be with him." it makes me feel bad & want to just stay with him. =/

I have to agree with mostly everyone else.
I'd feel so unbelievably guilty if he said that.
