okay, well my parents took away my sprint cell phone because i went up the bill like REALLY REALLY high, and they're compromising with me by agreeing to get a prepaid cell phone. do any of you guys have one, or are there any good reliable ones out there? i mean, i've been reading those virgin mobile 'pay-as-u-go' things and some people aren't impressed with it, plus it's like 80 bucks. please gimme some advice on cell phones, i'm pretty much clueless

eh i use virizon wireless i never go over my limit. exept when im texting...... haha the last time i texted with some i "loved" my bill was 150$ ... i dont think pre paid cell phones are good :/

Erg prepaid is bad.. 400 minutes for like 50 bucks I believe? IDK it's like 25 cents a minute I believe. It's alot. You're better w/ getting a contract if your parents want to keep buying you prepaid every month.. They'll save more if they got u a contrct plus phones are cheaper to get if you get a contract.

i had to start out with a prepaid t-moble phone before. its better than not have a cell phone. after a while it got irrating because when i needed to a phone call i found out that i didn't have any more minutes because it either ran out or my minutes/money expired.

ugh i have a prepaid cell and my minutes always expire. what a waste. i hate prepaid its gay like woah. i dont give my number away cause of the minutes and they always end up expiring.

They kinda jip you with these plans. I mean, it seems nice to be able to pay as you go but if you actually calculate the number of minutes you get for lets say $30... you get like 100 minutes. You could just get a plan for $30 and get 250 anytime minutes plus a ton of night and weekend minutes. That's a much better deal if you ask me.

Christina didnt you read what she wrote? she already had a contract cellphone but her rents took away since the bill was crazy stuff. Anyways yeh its about 25cents a minute. The service is basicly the same as the provider soo verizon would be the best for coverage.

I used to have a pre-paid, and I hated it. If you can get your parents to get your old plan back, make sure you don't go over the plan.

I used Virgin Mobile but then I lost the phone I used. I liked it. I would reccomend Virgin Mobile. Yeah it might be a hassle if you like to talk alot but just watch out for your minutes. What I didnt like is that I couldent download from the Internet because VM blocks anything that is not on their server. You can download ringtones and stuff so its pretty good for me. And the phones, I like.
If you get cingular prepaid- you can get unlimited weekends. =)

I actually like the pre-paid cellphones. You dont get bills and you could be like in control. I mean, you dont go over your budget and all. yah...i have the same as mystical. Mine is boost mobile and i use pre-paid, but i think pre-paid is better by like a centemeter.

yeah...i hate pre-paid phones...for many reasons...they cost alot of money...for little minutes.....u dont get the same features as a contract phone........and its hell buying the cards or whatever for dem! buh the parentals wont allow me to get a contract cuz i supposidly talk too much....so! bLah! BUH...in da long run its better than not havin a phone at all........!
