Is this really a debate still or are we just throwing small flames at each other? Anyway, I personally believe kids in middle school shouldn't be dating - they've got no freakin' clue on how to handle that type of level with another person. Plus, it's just too young too fast.

AMEN. Man I remember kids getting into relationships in 4th grade. What's the point of dating? It's so two people can get to know one another and then get married. If you are with the same person you dated since 4th grade, good for you, but 9 times out of 10 you probably will break up. I hate how some people get into relationships just to show off, but they make everyone else's life hell when they break up and act suicidal.

It may sound cruel, but my friends don't come to me anymore for a talk when they break up and such. That's cause it's always the same story! And I warned them before.. dude you don't need this right now, or I think it's time to break up. But noO.

Of course that's not everyone though. There people I know that are mature enough and have a serious relationship, and respect to that.

Even if they're acquaintances, that's still considered a relationship.

He's (or she, not sure) not mad at middle schoolers in general, he's mad at the ones who jump into relationships.

I am as annoyed at that as he is, but adults jump into relationships, too, and adults can be all teary eyed and complain about their relationships as well, not just little kids.

I rather kids ask for advice than be ignorant of how to work out their problems, then be stressful and depressed about it... which could lead to more serious problems.

well obviously wen ppl begin a relationship, they dont realize how it can fly out of control. n yea most of the time its pretty damn obvious that it wont work out, they jus wanna push their luck

if u can't solve ur problem maybe its because:
1) its already gone beyond the control and u haf no hope of gettin bak

of course, some threads in the relationships forum is asking for tips or advice on stuff n i dont see how that could hurt

1) Nothing's over until the fat lady sings. If everyone will just give up their love in a snap if the problem is too complicated then there would be more and more divorces and no one will work for love anymore. Why should you give up so easily on someone that could be "the one"?

i do agree with th5014. Simply because I believe that humans should only jump into a guy-girl relationship when they are ready. Mentally and physically.
