I had NAPSTER then XOLOX then MORPHEOUS then KAZAA then BEARSHARE. Now i don't have a music/file sharing program. I see that there is no point with a crappy comp and dail up modem

I use bearshare. because kazaa downloaded messed up songs. like, they were fine, then after a minute, it was all scratchy and wierd.

I did have kazaa, but it gave my computer soo much spyware and it was so effin slow so I asked my best guy friend what he downloaded his music with and he said winmx..so I got it and I have a fast computer now and winmx doesnt screw up songs like kazaa did.

winmx. i used kazaa after my winmx got messed up, but i fixed it so now im back with it

Went from Napster to Morpheus to Kazaa to WinMX + Kazaa Lite Resurrection. For album downloads, I rely on BitTorrent.

I use Kiwi Alpha. I've used Napster, Morpheous, and Kazaa in the past.

well i used napster but it was inconvenient
then morpheus but it was practically useless
kazaa gave me f*cked up versions of the song, all scratchy towards the end n what-not
kazaa lite was a bit more satisfactory until it f*cked up my internet connection coz it dled at like 2 bajillion gigs per second
winMX was slow as hell
bittorrent dint haf a wide variety, and it forced me to dl the whole album rather than a single; therefore prolonging the dl time
bearshare gives me wat song i want, but it puts a hella load of adware on my comp. i need to switch coz its dragging down my comp realli badly lmfao

well i still haven't found a satisfactory file-sharing program which realli pisses me off. anyone else haf the same problem as me?

Hey but did you try LimeWire? That sh!t is the best!!! Lol first I had Kazaa for like months then I tryed all the other things like Winmx, Bittorrent (which I honestly dont get. its so confusing) and AresLite (which is weird cuz the files are always quened or watever so therefore it takes FOREVER to download).

So just try LimeWire--i've never had a problem with it before so yea. It works best for me!

All of the p2p's except Soul Seek and WinMX have a shitload of spyware.

iTunes sucks for downloading music. You have to pay for it, and their music selection is too mainstream American.

iTunes radio streams and it's player are real nice though.

Kazaa Lite, the one thats actually protected against the RIAA and such. Good version. No spyware...free.

how do you use the Bitorrent?? its madd confusing...

I used Kazaa along time ago. Shareaza recommended by a friend but it sucked cos it had NOTHING i wanted (aka anime and movies). Then I switched to LimeWire.
Now I use Ares. It's like Kazaa before hit it the Washington Post.

Usually I download songs by WinMX
But sometimes when I want to download the whole album
I will use BT

I use WinMx but I've used Kazaa before.

i use BitTorrent or just take songs already posted up online [using the right click and save as options].

BitTorrent is hard at first, but very good program once you get the hang of it.

WinMX 4 meeh...

I don't understand what's so hard about understanding BitTorrent, Or any other Torrent program for that matter.
