I really don't care about a girls' body, I care about her personality. A few months ago I was dating a girl that other's thought was a**-ugly, but I loved her for who she was, not what she looked like. They were like, "Eww, she's fat!" I'd just shake my head and say, "More cushion for the pushin'!" A good body is always nice, but that shouldn't be what's keeping you from a girl you like. I'm overweight myself, so I don't care if she's skinny or not, because I know she's going through the same sh*t I am with being overweight, so we can both be fat, fluffy marshmallows together! xD

:3 This makes me feel a lot better. I walk and jog a lot, do yoga and kickboxing, but I still remain 140 with my small 5'2 frame. I barely eat sweets (I have maybe five oreos a MONTH) and I usually drink like 1-2 cans of soda a day. Some people just can't help being bigger than everyone else, or smaller than everyone else.

Well; since I'm a girl I would put this question into guy formation. I wouldn't want a guy that was a stick or skinnier than me. I say; medium. A fit, athletic kind is good.

It's starting to get on my nerves that people refer to skinny people as 'anorexic'.

Fact: Most people who suffer from anorexia are OVER weight, and they are trying to loose weight by not eating. It is usually a last resort for most people.

I agree that there is a point where too thin is too thin, but a lot of people are just born skinny. I'm 5'7 and I weigh 112 lbs. People tell me I'm too skinny all the time. My doctor, on the other hand, disagrees. I eat healthy, I exercise regularly, I play sports. I DON'T starve myself. I never have and I never will. But of cource, everyone who's 15+ pounds over weight and jealous of me has to start rumors that I have an eating disorder.

And I think you guys often forget that anorexia and bulemia are diseases. Critisizing and making fun of people who suffer from them sure as hell is not going to do them any good in overcoming their eating disorder. It probably makes them feel a whole lot worse.

From what I've been told by guys I know, the consensus is medium, I guess. Maybe it's an age thing (since I'm probably amongst the older people here seeing as I'm almost 30). It seems as though more and more, guys are wanting a filled out girl, rather than a Kate Moss type. (And I sincerely mean no offense to anyone who is socially considered 'skinny').

Also, when I ask what makes a girl sexy? Most guys will respond, "confidence." So no matter what size you are, be proud and enjoy your body.

Like the make-up poll, I think weight depends on the individual girl. Every girl(and guy) just have one body type that really seems to suit them. Some girls just can't do the curvy thing, some can. While others look sick when they're too thin and others look fantastic. But overall I think I would say that while its more about each girl, I do prefer girls with a little more meat on them. Curves are sexy!

Anyway, I'm 5'9" and weigh 147 lbs.

I like skinny girls, cuz it makes me feel like I should protect them. And they should be shorter than me hopefully. Medium girls are fine too. I'm not too thrilled about girls bigger than I am, but who knows... personality is important too.

im 6'2 and im a skinny muscular shape so i like girls that arn't really short and that are medium to skinny. i dont find large girls attractive at all.

Yeah um i've noticed guys do care about loooks. Can guys seriously answer this honestly?? I mean guys say no make up is hott, but i've noticed its the skinny girls w/o make up who're hott. When they guys say that they like chubby girls, i've noticed its the shy guys who go after the chubby girls because they dont have the nerve to ask out the prettier girls he really has his eye for...and the chubby girl has loads of makeup.
Personally, i've noticed i get more attention if i wear make up...

SAME!! my metabolism is like crazy. I think it's becuase I'm athletic. After I run alot or play other sports I always eat alot, but I never get fat.

but yes. i honestly think bigger girls have the best personalities. they tend to be far more accepting and caring than other girls. i'm not saying that i've never met a skinny/medium girl who was absolutely amazing, because i have. but, from my own experience, some of the bigger girls i've had in my life were just....incredible to be around and spend time with. they rarely judged me (i'm not skinny myself...at all.) or others, and without that tension and topic always coming up, we were able to have a better time together.

it is a personal preference though. i don't look down on boys/girls who say they are only attracted to skinny/fit girls. because there is beauty there that larger girls just don't have. as hard as it is to admit it. it's true. and...some people are just...attracted to that kind of beauty. it's a fact of life that i've learned to deal with pretty well being a "bigger" girl. no hard feelings from me.

I like medium (but still slender) the best. When you go to the extremes, you usually start to lose shape. I like shapely girls, but a cute face and endearing features are more attractive to me than a nice body.

A toned body says to me that a girl has the discipline to exercise and to have a healthy, fit lifestyle, and I like that.

Thing is, even with a nice body, you can't have a crappy personality or guys won't care about your body, they'll just think you're a bitch. And that ruins the whole impression of you.

Girls: Eat well and exercise for the body, and be nice for the personality!

you guys should have put skinny but atheletic. cause i weigh 125 at 5'2. i look really skinny until i lift up my shirt && flex abs.then you can tell im not fat im just really muscular. for a girl. ^__^
