What kind of rock do u like? punk or metal?

but i prefer punk over metal.

I like old school punk. (black Flag, Sex Pistols...) I dont like all those new "punk" posers like Simple Plan and Good Charlotte. Uh.

I don't listen to much of either, but I do like punk better. Metal isn't my thing.

I prefer metal over punk. I like both 80s metal and old school punk though.

i like metal...but i like all kinds of rock but i listen to mostly metal...i don't like punk that much though...probably my least favorite...

between metal and punk i would chose punk....i hardly EVER listen to metal......even metal with actualy good lyrics i wouldnt want to hear for the screaming and lame guitar solos

I have never heard anything more ignorant. You need to read most metal lyrics before you say such a steryotypical remark.


And by the way, punk and metal isnt a subcategory of rock. Rock, metal and punk are all different genres.

that's why lamb of god played at the republican national convention to protest bush, otep's song "warhead" is blatantly anti-bush, and ministry is featured on rock against bush volume one. it seems to have just as much of a point as political punk.

and what exactly is the point of punk other than polotics? riding the bus? spaz's house destruction party? they seem equally pointless.

i like punk, metal and a punk-metal hybrid i like to call hardcore.
