I was wondering if you could tell me how to design a custom banner for my xanga page? I want to know what program to use to create the banner and how to use it on my xanga page.

For custom banners you would have to use a paint program like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. There are lots of tutorials in Webdesign Chat.

basically, you would need a program that allows you to draw and make designs etc... like photoshop or paint shop pro or even MS paint would work. you could find the trial version of photoshop at http://www.downloads.com and search for photoshop trial. the design is all up to you and your imagation, what ever you want to do design you make it up. http://www.good-tutorials.com/tutorials/6 shows you how to make designs and effect.


after your down designing your banner, you'd need to upload it onto a server http://www.photobucket.com works pretty well. you then take the URL of your picture and apply it to the code down at the bottem



copy and paste your code into your header of your xanga and you got yourself a banner
