well...a digital camera can't function as a webcam, but maybe you have a camera that also has a webcam inside it (like, u see those "all-in-one printer/scanner"s ...maybe thats what u got...

i have a canon powershot 80 too. are you talkin about the video thing? because you can just take clips and then download it to your computer

My intel handycam (i think thats the name, it's white and blue)
is a digital camera, so it takes pictures with basic function, but with a usb cord (that i use to upload pictures) it also is a webcam!

Nah. I have Canon, you can use it as a webcam by yourself, but not for connecting with other people.

if you buy those pencams from logitech, you can have an all in one cam (webcam, digicam, digivideocam all in one). however, there's no flash, the megapixels hardly exceed 2, and they don't have preview screens. basically they suck. like nas said, there are GOOD digicams out there that will also function as digivideocams, but i haven't seen a good three in one.
