it takes me around 5 minutes. i just fill up the sink with water after i take a shower, and dip my head in there and then pull it back out. the hair on the top of my head is flat, so i just pick out a few spikes, and then for the front, i just have really long bangs and they're already spiked =]

i wake up at 6:00 bcz i have a 0 period and it starts at 7 so i take a 10 minute shower put my contacts, and just use my hands to spike it....then put hair spray on

Takes me about 5minutes to spike it.
First, you make sure your hair's damp. Wet hair means the gel will just err wash off. Dry means that it's harder to sculpt.
Second, apply gel, as much as you want or as little as you want. Make sure to slick back the front part of your hair. Then start gelling the back.
Now, you need to bend down so that your head's upside down. This is when you actually start sculpting the spikes and such.
Afterwards, you blowdry your hair so that the spikes will come out nice and pretty.

i look like s saiyan if i spike my hair up, lolz. i like 2 keep my bangs but they cut it off. this is what i do. take both of your hands and align each finger tip with another. then put those aligned fingertips just a lil to the middle forehead. now bring back ur hands to the back of head. palms flat on ur hair.

all the spray and gel I used when I was a teen F***ed up my hair. Now it's all thinning out. I still look good though, I tink. Lol

My cousin, who lives with us and is a 12 year old boy, all he does is spray his hair with water, squeeze like a handful of gel and splashes it on his hair. then he takes a comb and just starts combing backwards. perfectly spiked hair

ummm i take a comb(normal ones,not the flea removing things)and dip it in gel and then i put a lil water on my head and then comb my hair up...i sill have a picture of me doing it when i was in grade 6...click hereXD

thats why you always use good shampoo and conditioner, and never put too much gel, hairspray, etc. on your head.

ok first you wet your head in the sink (or shower) and towel dry a little bit. then you put the gel in. (or pomade) and you sort of run your fingers though your hair and make it spikey. then if you want it to harden and stay that way you blow dry. thats just about all there is to it.

hmm... i once spiked my hair for fun for crazy hair day lmao... and back then, my hair was up to my mid back KEKE it took like... 2 hours? and like one WHOLE gel bottle thingy to get it up and staying there. of course,i i had to tilt my head everytime to get out and in of a door.

Well I just cut my hair half on the sides and 4 or was it three on the top. Which means... its too short to spike now...

But when my hair was longer damn id waste a whole bottle on my hair cause it was soo long all around not only in d top and to make it look proportional i had to spike the sides also or itd look like crap.

my hair is some what spikey. i guess the best way to describe my hair is the way Ryan Seacrest does his from American Idol. Yea thats the closest comparison i have. It looks really hot my hair i love it. It takes like 5 minutes to do and its real simple. I use this special type of gel, some hairspray, and I blow dry it out.

hahaha, am i expert? only takes me 1 minute, water on bangs, gel on hands, rub, put on hair, comb, use finger and style....1 minute done, let the air dry...it hardens more
