What does it mean exactly when you externally link your CSS codes. I have CSS codes but how do you externally link it and what is it??

When U external link that means your linking outside of your page, in this case (css) to a .css file. U put all your css stuff and then u save it as .css and then u upload and link to it, thats external linking.

it just pretty much put all of ur css coding into one line...itz a nice thing to do to ur xanga, ur codes will look soo much neater!

after u've uploaded ur style sheet...put this in the header:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="file goes here.css">

but when u r making ur style sheet, u don't need the <style> </style> tags
