To start off I am probably the shyest person on the planet. Its pretty sad. There are people, lots of ppl that want to talk to me, but I'm just too shy to talk to. I notice this, because girls that I know talk to me online, and we can talk...(dont talk to guys much) but when it comes to real life, I just cant talk. Then it crosses over online, I cant talk to them again.. pretty sad, I know.
Another thing that is a little frustrating is, my best friend, a person i can actually talk to can also talk to other people, especially the 2 girls I like (I know). And hes also almost exactly like me too, just everything is better, he gets better grades, he plays chess better, hes getting out of his 'shyness state' better, and hes just better than me in every way that makes me a person taht is interesting.
and these two paragraphs tie.. he also likes about the same girls as me, and he can talk to them, and they can talk back, it just makes me soo frustrated with my own life. This is more like the way I am releasing my pain.. Its not a pity cry. My life sucks.. literally, and if I could, I would give my hearing to a deaf person, because i sure dont need it.. and it woul help a more deserving person.. well, thank you for reading this waste of time. and sorry, for posting it on here. (I know I'm a sad person, but thats what comes with my kind of shyness..)

dont worry i used to be reallllli shy also, but i realized itz cuz i cared A LOT about waht other ppl thought of me (yu know, i dont want to say nything stoopid so they talk $#*% about me) but after yu can look past da fact tat no matter WAHT ppl will talk, yur gonna stay shy. Also i think itz not talents tat make a person interesting, i believe its da person's personality tat makes a person interesting. Yu seem lyke an intelligent, nice person, juss gotta boost yur self esteem a little i hope tat yu wil feel better soon

Haha, it's funny cause I feel like I'm reading about myself. Anyways, I totally understand you. I've yet to crack the 'shell' and be able to talk to people, especially girls. I mean I can talk to some girls, but that I've known for a really long time and gotten comfortable with. If not, I can never carry on a conversation with a girl. I can surely talk to them alot online, but when it comes face-to-face, it seems like as if I'm not even there at all. Ah, I don't know.
My friend once told me I should try going to the mall and saying 'Hi' to every single person there. I've never tried it myself but why don't you try it and tell me what happens?

i've tried that!!! i'm used to be real shy, especially around guys, but then i kinda broke through. and also the thing he mentions about he talks comfortable with people he's known for a long time..... it was hard on me when i moved to texas last year, cuz most of the guys i wanted to get to know were scared to talk, and being hte shy person i was, i never tried to go up and talk.

LoL I can talk to some guys only if they're wierd like me or I've know them for a while, like a year or something. I've talked to my bf's friend online, who's cool and all, but I've talked to him in real life, and all I've said is "HI" and "Bye" between 3 hour intervals. And most of the time, I just only talk to guys if I have to ask them a quick question about classes, but all in all, I'm kinda shy too =T I know how you feel lol. But in the girl's point of view...

If only there was something we could do to be less shy...

but the good part is that S.A.D. is treatable with some drugs like zoloft and prozac.

Hey....don't worry about being shy. sometimes it's a good thing. i used to be really shy...and i had a best friend who did everything better then me....my parents always were like " why aren't you like her? why does she get better grades?" and stuff like that...it sucked. but anyway, try just letting stuff out. took me a looonnnggg time but eventually i did overcome this "shyness stage". a girl will come to you sometime soon, and when she does come, you'll overcome your shyness. at least, with her. good luck!
