What are some good dumbell/bodyweight exercises to get in shape? Like... the ones that actually give you some visible results? Thanks.

u can use dumbells to do lunges and jump ups for some leg exercises...for lunges just hold 2 weights and then take a far step forward and let the knee of the other leg to touch the ground...jump ups, just hold 2 weights and jump onto a bench or something...for arm exercises u can do lateral raises...hold 2 dumbells and arms at yer side then raise them straight out and go down then repeat

besides the weight thingy, swimming is also good, work with every part of your body...

hmm....... i would say sit ups, crunches, (basically same ding) umm...... letz c...... liftin weightz i guess 4 arms........ i dun't realli no dat much, *doesn't work out*

it depends wat u want to show..
if u want to have more bicepts.. u do 21's using the bar bell..
if u want forearm.. use the bumbells or bar bells.
shoulders do dumbell death.. or military press..
abs... do incline with the bumbells as weights.
tricpets.. use the barbells n do closed grip..
umm theres alot...

well Wrestling seasons is commin up n yea... im gunna have lots of conditioning for Wrestling PE n stuff.. n im just wondering.. how do i lose weight n become stronger??

well im hearing from every wrestler that in 6th period Wrestling PE (Varsity Practice, Im doing that this year) that they lose like at least 5 lbs a day... 5 lbs mostly of body water... i was thining.. if its mostly water... once i drink water or any liquid.. will i gain wat i lost?
i wanna be like 112-119 or if i can.. prolly 105 heh... n i wanna still be benching as much as i do now cuz.. i wanna be benching 155lbs n squat 290lbs in the school year n be that light.. JW is that posible? cuz one of our wrestlers that is like 103lbs.. he maxxed out bench at 150... wow... JW.. can i do the same?

i do wrestling too... i prepare for months b4 the season. lay off the saturated fats like ice cream n potato chips n stuff... then do lots of runnin... mayb 5 miles a day (thats wut i do) and weight lifting every otha day. n drink lotsa water... eat ur normal 3 times a day. eat alot less than u do... i normally eat bout half a scoop of rice durin wrestling wit some beef n vegetables... u gotta have at least one piece of food from each food group... junk food is neva good if u wanna lose weight... ur weight lifting is up to u... i dropped down to 135 from 160. n i still benched 175lbs. keep ALLL the nutrients in ur diet n u'll b able to max out at ever more weight. hope this helps... message me if u need more help

damn 103? thats kinda low weight for a varsity player but yeah i think its possible to lose weight and lift the same amount as you do, as long as u eat all the nutrients you need and eat 1 gram of protein for every 1 lb u weigh, but i'd rather gain weight and bulk up cuz it'll be easier to gain muscle

hey im in wrestling,i wrestled 138...always before a weigh in if u feel like your over your weight...put some gum in your mouth then spit it out.u lose body weight also make sure your 10 pounds under takin a shower makes u gain weight.go on a protein diet if your really worried...i had to

To lose weight, you burn calories. To burn calories, you do cardiovasucular activities. Such as jogging, swimming, basketball. Anything to get your heart beating at the Target Heart Rate. To get stronger, lift weights.

cool.. i used to eat just salad before pratice.. like a lil plate bowl? watever i call it.. n yea.. iono if thats good for you tho.. eating JUST salad. o wit a lil dressing ^_^ haha.. but yea.. il gunna do that.. eat every thing in the food pyramid besides the sugar.. well.. lil wont hurt.. about that diet tho.. the 3 meals.. i heard from Proppy that 6 meal diets are better cuz it highers ur metablism n yea...

see.. if ur JV or Freshie team.. u just need to eliminate one of the Varsity that are in ur Weight group.. which is.. HARD... haha but that 103 lbs guy.. names "Mo" hes going into his junior yea n hes.. shot.. but BUFF i mean.. dam.. people made nicknames for him.. "lil ball if muscles" .. but yea.. anyone can be in varsity.. just need to eliminate the people of "higher class"

ooh yeah i forgot that wrestling is different with the ranks, i keep thinking likes it football and like who weighs the most and lifts the most and runs the fastest...so the ranking in wrestling is like in tennis, u beat ppl in higher ranks and then take their spot
and guarneri, i dunno if you've played a high school sport before but they check u for steroids (usually) before the season and Liposuction is unhealthy for an athlete to lose so much weight out of his body, its unnatural

yea its possible.....ass long as ur becoming leaner and not just skinnier....... but if u wanna continue lifting and get massive ammounts of muscle,ur bound to gain more weight than lose.....because muscle weights more than fat.... so yea.... if u start to lose weight ur probally losing muscle

DAMN, you eat before you wrestle? what if you get dropped? there gonna go your lunch

and being light weight is kinda bad. you know they just pick you right up from your legs to there back up and all you can do if wiggle your hands and legs hopelessly into you hit the ground. the fatist person in our team is also the mvp.

i should be cause i wupt him ever time at the end of the lil drills we have in practice.

haha naw i dont lose my lunch.. i eat light stuff like salad cuz... i dont throw up >.<...
i remember my first wrestling match.. OMG! i was... dead.. i couldnt stand up cuz im so dam tired.. i almost blacked out, almost threw up.. n yea.. oy.. haha

ehhh juss salad doesnt have enuf nutrients... u need some meats, some veggies, some grains etc... u shud b fine if ur balanced diet...
