Full Version: why would it turn out like this?!

well i'm vectoring for the first time... so i read the instructions and stuff. but then when i try to work on the face, it turns out like this ::




the gray color covers the whole face. and it turns out like a black and white photo... well i'm guessing i did something wrong ermm.gif ...but i cant figure it out! help!

Your picture is most likely in grayscale. Change it to RGB.

cry.gif no it wasnt on grayscale...it was on rgb. i tried again but it still wont work *sigh*

Maybe try doing it all over again? It's a pain but sometimes you have to do it... just make sure that you're on RGB and have the right color selected before remaking the whole thing. You might also want to keep the old document open just in case. I'm usually pretty good with Adobe, I'm asuming that you're using Illustrator, but I don't know what the problem is... other than not being on RGB or having the wrong color selected.

i keep doing it over and over but it just wont work. but now the problem is that when i do the click object, hide selection, it turns back to the normal picture... pinch.gif

Hmm... well, I couldn't help ya much. I don't have Illustrator; just Photoshop. Maybe you should try posting on the tutorial thread and see if someone can help you?
