How do you tell if a guy likes you or not? It's all so confusing

It's sort of really hard to tell ... except for one time when my best friend who was a guy kept on following me around and stare at me during class and whenever something happens during class, he looks at me and laughs ..

Otherwise, it's really confusing. There was this one guy who acted alot like he liked me, but turns out he doesn't. And then some guys don't even show signs they like you. Sometimes I wonder, WHY WON'T TTHEY JUST TELL YOU??

Well for me, I'd say the top reason if they're stalking you - your friends see that girl following you around whenever she sees you, always peeking into your classroom, hoarding every bit of you (even the tiniest bit of junk) and basically avoiding you whenever they see you. (I have had experience that girls that like guys tend to avoid the guys they like just because of that unknown "tension" between them...

i'm always following this one guy that i like, but not on purpose! i just have classes near his so i always end up following him for some reason. and i guess he kind of noticed or something because he's always turning around checking for something and when he sees me he always stops, like as if he's making sure im not following him. lol

well, for me i notice that when a guy likes a girl (or vice versa) if he hangs around her constantly.. like couple of my friends before they went out were constantly around each other.. they would know their schedules almost by heart.. will ask when they do not see the other person.. and just be extra friendly ;] if i notice that i tell the girl that i think the guy ilkes her .. then if she likes him she'll be like "no way~" but with a smile.. n voila.. some time later.. they are going out..

so i guess hte basic is that they will be around each other constantly :P

at first it was horrible...my friend got angry at me so she told da guy i like dat i liked him but he said he didnt like me...but i wasnt to give up...surprisingly...so...on valentines day i gave him a carnation saying 'will you be my valentine?' so i was wondering what he did wit it...i looked through his locker and i didnt see it!!!then my friend asked him(the friend who told him in da first place)and he said he threw it away!!! lol...i got so many girls to jump him on valentines day...so hilarious but he said he didnt...but later on i found out he gave it to his friend(whos a guy dats kinda gay..LOL..but der good friends at least cuz he didnt want to carry it around wit him...yeah...my mans da tough guy...LOL..so i asked him the same day if he liked me or not...(it was kinda easy so to say from experience...)and he jus shook his head a lil and walked away!!!!!can ya believe that?!?!so LOTS of my friends kept on askin him if he liked me or not and all he said was 'i dunno' and shrugged his shoulders...FINALLY to one of his friends he said 'yes' and his friend was like 'then why dont you ask her out?' *shrugs shoulders*...so typical of him...but i do owe that guy who asked him a whole lot!...

the whole scenario came when my friend was like 'can i ask him?' and im like 'no!..ill ask him..' and i walk over to him and i ask him 'richard...do you like me or not?' he smiles and says 'why? why do you like me?' LMAO...boy was i gonna strangle him fer delaying his answer...then i said 'dont answer my question with another question!!' he laughs...then after 1 min he finally says 'yes' and i smile and say 'wha..?you really do like me?' *he nodds & smiles back*
